Farewell Coach Leah

This is easily one of the hardest parts of being a military affiliate. In this case we have had to say farewell, and then welcome back and now farewell again to Coach Leah.

Leah was here when the PITT was literally a park with picnic tables and a flag pole and the rig was in the cardio room, seriously, look!
Leah has seen and been a big part of the growth of Fight Tonight CrossFit. She has watched our gym grow in membership, strength, and talent. She has seen it move locations, equipment, change hours, affiliate managers and more. Through all of the changes that the military and MWR throw at our program we can always count on Leah to handle them with grace and give us some perspective on how it used to be because she was here before. Her knowledge as a coach has helped so many athletes overcome fears, hit PRs, and build confidence both inside and out of the gym. Her gentle, yet persistent coaching style lets you know she’s not going to yell at you but she’s also not going to let you quit. If you have ever been to one of Leah’s classes you can tell she’s an experienced coach, she runs her classes with the type of level headedness and flexibility that only a seasoned coach can pull off. Our entire coaching team and athletes are losing a huge asset this month.

Today we send off Leah and her husband Nathan and their daughter Madison, again. We can’t thank them enough for their contributions to our program past and present. In place of tears and sad ‘good-byes’ we will sweat together.
