More than anything I wanted a reason to make this photo more public:
In all seriousness Dave “Big Daddy” as he likes to call himself will be leaving us soon and heading back to his beautiful family in Texas. He has only been here a year but it feels longer, maybe it’s because he fit right in with this group of misfit athletes, or maybe it’s because every coach has spent countless hours working with him on mobility- but it finally worked! Have you seen Dave squat lately?! We have to thank his wife for pushing him into CrossFit because of her we gained an awesome member. From day one Dave was willing to help out if that meant being a judge at a competition, helping clean barbells, or just showing up and supporting he was there. He is the perfect example of putting in a little extra work for massive gains. Dave has been able to master Double Unders, Muscle ups, and on a good day, Overhead Squats all because he takes that little extra time every week to work on his goals. He has made incredible physical transformations as well developing a 6-pack that rivals coach Mike’s. While we know his family will be happy to have him back, selfishly we would love to keep Dave around a bit longer. It has been awesome to watch you grow as an athlete. Fight Tonight will always be your first CrossFit family, all others will only qualify as stepfamilies. We look forward to watching you continue now that you finally joined social media!
